Трудовая деятельность
1978 - 1979 инженер Физического института им. П.Н. Лебедева АН СССР; 1979 - 1982 аспирант МИФИ; 1982 - 1986 младший научный сотрудник НИЧ БГУИР; 1986 - 1993 старший научный сотрудник НИЧ БГУИР; 1993 - 1996 докторант БГУИР; 1996 - 2000 ведущий научный сотрудник НИЧ БГУИР; 2000 - н/вр профессор БГУИР. Тема кандидатской диссертации: «Исследование вихревого механизма процессов в микромостиках из сверхпроводников с решёткой А 15». Защитил в 1985 г. Тема докторской диссертации: «Диссипативные процессы и динамика вихрей в сверхпроводящих тонкоплёночных микроструктурах». Защитил в 1996 г.
Тематика исследований в настоящее время охватывает низкоразмерные материалы с разными физическими свойствами (тонкоплёночные магнитные и сверхпроводниковые гетероструктуры, магнитные нанопровода, углеродные нанотрубки, графен, топологические изоляторы) и элементы наноэлектроники на их основе.
За последние 5 лет, с 2015 по 2020 гг. под научным руководством Прищепы С.Л. выполнялось 7 научно-исследовательских работ. Из них 1 (Ф15ЛИТ-009) выполнялась по линии ГКНТ, 1 хоздоговор с НИИ ЯП БГУ (16-1207) и 5 (16-3042, 16-3082, 16-3093, 19-3010, 19-3071) - по линии Министерства образования в рамках Государственных программ научных исследований «Фотоника, опто- и микроэлектроника» и «Физическое материаловедение, новые материалы и технологии». Руководит комплексными заданиями в рамках Государственных программ научных исследований «Фотоника, опто- и микроэлектроника» и «Физическое материаловедение, новые материалы и технологии». Является куратором от БГУИР проекта COST CA 19118 «High-performance carbon-based composites with smart properties for advanced sensing applications» (2020-2024). Основным научным направлением является разработка элементов сверхпроводниковой и углеродной спинтроники на основе многослойных сверхпроводниковых наноструктур и массивов углеродных нанотрубок с ферромагнитными наночастицами и исследование в них размерных эффектов. Результаты исследований опубликованы в ведущих научных журналах мира. Постоянно выступает с приглашенными и устными докладами на международных конференциях, проводимых как в республике, так и за рубежом. За последние 5 лет опубликовал 98 печатных работ. Под его руководством защищено: 1 докторская диссертация и 3 кандидатских диссертаций.

Дисциплины «Программирование сверхбольших интегральных схем» и «Архитектура и технология сверхбольших интегральных схем» читаются также и иностранным студентам и магистрантам на английском языке. Проводит лабораторные и практические занятия по данным курсам.
